Public Education. Consulting. Potentially problematic chemicals are in our food, personal care products, pet food and general environment. As scientific researchers, authors and consultants we have researched, written about, presented at scientific and professional conferences, and trained clients and the general public about the link between these chemicals of concern and a variety of public health issues for over a quarter of a century. Now we are excited to expand both our scientific research and public education efforts in this area by (1) launching two new observational research and meta-analysis studies on the ways public reaction to these potentially dangerous additives is affecting consumer behavior and corporate response; (2) expanding our public seminar, workshop and tabling rosters, (3) joining forces with a nonprofit multimedia group producing a feature-length documentary and expanding our doc-short series on synthetic chemicals in food and the environment; and (4) researching and writing another new book on the topic--this one, a user-friendly, easy guide to help consumers learn what the most problematic synthetic and industrialized food additives are, where they hiding, and how to avoid them.
